What is Delta-8 THC?
The THC that gives cannabis its popular and desired effects is technically called Delta-9 THC. Delta-8 THC is also natural to the cannabis plant. Because our Delta-8 derives from the hemp plant, it is legal and highly gratifying.
What does Indica mean?
Indica is a classification of marijuana commonly known for its relaxing properties. It's strains typically have higher doses of CBD and lower levels of THC. This means that indica is associated with a more relaxing feel, so it is commonly used in the evenings.
Will Delta-8 THC Get You High?
Delta-9 THC and Delta-8 THC can both get you high, even though most people say they achieve a slightly different experience. That difference is due to bond strength between CB1 receptors and THC molecules. Delta-9 THC bonds more strongly with the body’s CB1 receptors which produces more extreme feelings of paranoia, anxiety, and other classic “high” side effects. It can also serve as a strong sedative. In contrast, Delta-8 THC bonds more weakly with CB1 receptors, producing a notably milder high. Researchers have not studied D8 as much as delta-9 THC or CBD, yet available evidence including anecdotal stories from users suggests the gentler delta-8 weed high allows for a more focused and clear-headed experience. Perhaps the biggest benefit of using Delta-8 THC is that it is less likely to produce those side effects like anxiety and paranoia. That isn’t to say it isn’t intoxicating—it is!
